The vision for the site was to create a well-connected and sustainable extension to the existing residential area, structured around a network of green corridors. These link the new development with existing routes to key facilities within the town, while also creating new connections and opportunities for movement through the site.

Engagement with the adjacent rugby club identified an opportunity to accommodate additional land for a new playing pitch, helping to meet the club’s needs alongside the delivery of new homes. The submitted masterplan was developed through an iterative dialogue with the club, exploring a range of options to establish the most appropriate solution for the site and its wider community. @ UDB
